BUJO for beginners.

I have spent more time than I am proud of agonizing over planners. Each planner filled with dreams of endless potential. This planner will unlock EVERYTHING. Alas, I was wrong. I managed to nitpick everything about my planners. Too many empty pages. I don’t use the weeklies. I want something to write down my memories. This list goes on. I even tried bullet journaling once or twice before and quickly gave up.

The problem: Instagram is filled with these beautiful but ridiculous bullet journal spreads. I would spent hours trying to emulate the different layouts and trackers. But I am not an artist, nor do I care that much to learn. So another bullet journaling attempt came and went.

Until!

I picked up this.

The book is written by Ryder Carroll, the guy who came up with the bullet journal. To my surprise there was no intricate layouts. Just pen and paper. I thought this looks easy enough, lets give it another go.

I picked up a cute notebook which I’ll link here.

Yes, I did buy this beautiful sage color.

Last but not least, I got some new Sharpie S-Gel pens. And VOILA! I was off on my bullet journal journey.

I’ve been able to mesh planning and memories into one. It’s simple and straight to the point. It’s everything I’ve been looking for.

Happy planning friends 🙂
